This very date, January 1st, is when many of us feel inspired to commit to whatever the necessary changes we need to make in order to experience our "best year yet". We often push ourselves to break bad habits and form new routines like jumping into a new exercise routine, eliminating all bad foods, or starting a new 10-step skin regimen. These extreme changes can end up shocking our systems that our bodies end up quitting before we have a choice in the matter.

Whenever I find myself in a predicament there are a few things that happen. I get upset, I feel helpless, and then I get to work. Today, I'm going to go through the roadblock that motivated me to create the TSC program. Finding your voice
This Monday I did my first Instagram live and was surprised by how I felt afterward. Or perhaps more so what I didnβt do afterward. I didnβt immediately criticize myself for how I spoke, how I looked, and I also didnβt think that I wasted other peopleβs time. Those three things have plagued me since I was a young girl and the majority of my career as an esthetician. After entering the new year with full autonomy I felt the creativity to explore new forms of content, education, and self-expression. It dawned on me that I have the capability of getting an audienceβs attention but if I donβt find my own voice and believe in what Iβm saying wholeheartedly than I wonβt acquire the growth I so desperately longed for.
What's your intention?
Every day we set an intention for ourselves, whether we are conscious of it or not. I get to work on a diverse group of people all the time and there are two major things that I see as a commonality amongst my clients time and time again: 1 - They all have skin (duh) and 2 - There are disconnects with their intention for themselves and intention for their skin. You canβt commit to being healthy or loving to yourself and exclude your skin in that factor. Your skin is part of the package people so itβs important to remember that you can put forth just as much love in your skin as you do everything else.
