Skincare Philosophy
A skincare philosophy is a set of beliefs, principles, and practices that guide your approach to skincare. It encompasses your values regarding beauty, health, and self-care, as well as your goals and priorities for your skin's well-being.
Ultimately, your skincare philosophy shapes how you choose products, develop routines, and care for your skin overall.
So what is my skincare philosophy? It’s layered in 3 core values.
1st - Honoring a bio-individual approach. This means that I believe that each individual can uncover the solutions to their most radiant self by listening to their symptoms and skin signals rather than treating skin like a one size fits all. Personalization is key to skin success.
2nd - It’s a full body approach. Understanding that skin reflects your internal health, emotional well-being, immune and nervous system dysregulations, and environmental stressors helps use remember that skin is our largest organ that is constantly evolving with us. Product care is one thing, but addressing root triggers is the key to long term skin success.
3rd - Skincare is nutrition for the skin. As humans, we need certain foods to provide us with essential nutrients we don’t typically make. The same goes for skin. My priorities will be to help establish a balanced harmony for your skin by adding flora balancing support, minerals, hydration, and essential omegas for barrier strength and support.
Lastly, I believe in the power of touch.
“Touch comes before sight, before speech. It is the first language, and the last, and it will always tell the truth.” - Margaret Atwood.
My facials are designed to help transform your mind, body, and spirit through touch and nervous system regulating modalities and products.
I look forward to sharing more in person or virtually with you through my offerings.
